The PGA Junior League at Willow Crest is a fun, structured, and development-focused golf program designed to help young players grow their skills, confidence, and love for the game in a positive team environment. Led by PGA Professional Brian Vaisnoras, this league blends instruction, on-course experience, and friendly competition in a format that is welcoming for beginners while still engaging for more experienced players. Players are placed on teams by coaches based on age, skill level, and friendships to ensure balanced competition and an enjoyable experience for everyone. Matches are played in a 3-vs-3 format, giving each player meaningful playing time while allowing coaches to provide guidance throughout the round. This season introduces an individual point system that rewards participation, effort, and performance on each hole. Bridges of Poplar Creek Late Summer PGA Jr. League Program
Our PGA Jr. League program is a fun, social and inclusive opportunity for boys and girls age 9-15 to learn how to compete on the course in a low-pressure environment. Players have a weekly practice and play 6-hole matches with a partner in a scramble format on Sunday late afternoons. Great program for making new friends and learning how to become a well-rounded golfer. This is a developmental league for beginners to recreational player level but not overly competitive. All 5 matches and 5 practices are held at the Bridges of Poplar Creek CC. Beginner friendly.

PGA HOPE is the flagship military program of the PGA of America. PGA HOPE is designed to introduce golf to Veterans and Active Duty Military to support their social, emotional, and physical well being. Join PGA HOPE alongside your fellow Veterans and Service members. PGA HOPE has served thousands of Veterans and Service members across the United States through one of our 300+ locations. This introductory program is designed to welcome those of all ages, branches and eras of service, genders, and abilities to the golf course and share in camaraderie and fun together as a group. During this session you will learn the basics from grip to 9 holes of golf from Greg Baeten and other PGA Professionals. No golf equipment is required. If you do have clubs and/or any specialty equipment, please bring them with you.
