Veteran Clinic Series at The Pompey Club We are always looking to play better golf, but most of the time, we just don't know how. Join us for a 90 minute clinic where we will spend time on the driving range, short game area, and putting green, to help you play better golf! The clinic will start at 8:00am and will conclude at roughly 9:30am. Supervised Practice (Tuesdays)
Are you unsure of the right way to practice? Do you need some helpful points of emphasis for your practice sessions? Want to get your swing looked at without taking a one on one lesson? Come join this 3 week lesson series! In this series of 1 hour supervised practices, learn to hone your skills the correct way by implementing proven practice techniques under the supervision of a PGA Professional. Your PGA Coach will set up and walk you through practice routines you can use to help bring your game to the next level. What's Included: In your first Supervised Practice, your PGA Coach will work with you to establish a baseline of your skills. Subsequent lessons will consist of either repetitive block practices, encouraging new skill development, or a variable practice used to test and challenge your new skills on the course. PGA HOPE is designed to introduce golf to Veterans and Active Duty Military to support their social, emotional, and physical well being. Join PGA HOPE alongside your fellow Veterans and Servicemembers. PGA HOPE has served thousands of Veterans and Servicemembers across the United States through one of our 300+ locations. This introductory program is designed to welcome those of all ages, branches and eras of service, genders, and abilities to the golf course and share in camaraderie and fun together as a group. During this session you will learn the basics from grip to 9 holes of golf from PGA and LPGA Professionals. No golf equipment is required. If you do have clubs and/or any specialty equipment, please bring them with you.
