LED BY PGA/LPGA PROFESSIONALS:
Team Lyman will be represented once again by John Dipollina, PGA Member and #GAMECHANGER award recipient for 2019-2025 and CT PGA Teacher of the Year 2025 Alex Cavaliere.

PRACTICES/MATCHES:
Total of 8 will take place on Friday afternoons.  Exact times for matches will be posted the day prior.

MATCHES:
Internal matches (6) will begin in mid-April.  Exact match times will be posted the evening prior by the coaching staff.  We ask all juniors/parents to RSVP to each practice/match date well ahead of time so we the coaches can provide an exact time for your son/daughter to tee off.  This will eliminate needless waiting around and allow your family to schedule accordingly.

The matches will be played on either the Jones or Player Championship Courses.  Players based on ability levels/age will compete from different sets of tees.  Red tees will be encouraged for girls and beginners to intermediate boys.  Gold tees will be encouraged for advanced boys.  White tees will be encouraged for returning all-stars.

THIS LEAGUE IS A NEW OFFERING AND WILL BUTT UP AGAINST OUR TRADITIONAL SUMMER PROGRAM.  17U SPRING IS IDEAL FOR THE JUNIOR GOLFER WHO HAS YET TO MAKE THEIR HIGH SCHOOL TEAM, MIGHT BE IN 8TH GRADE OR HAS HIGH SCHOOL GOLF OFFERED IN THE FALL.

PLAYER KITS:
Each player will be presented with their personalized player kit prior to the season’s first match.  At registration you will see a charge for $120 which is the yearly PGA Jr. League membership fee.  This fee will include two PGA Jr. League jerseys (new colors for 2026) and have the last name and favorite number on the back, a PGA Jr. League hat/visor, PGA Jr. League bag tag and a PGA Jr. League drawstring backpack.  This registration fee is a one-time fee for 2026 and is not charged again if the junior plays in our fall or winter programs that will follow the spring campaigns.

Lyman Orchards 17U - Spring 2026

**_Get ready to move better and swing better!_**

Classes are built for golfers of all ages - whether you’re maintaining mobility, boosting power, or improving consistency. The class will consist of a 30-45 minute mobility and functional fitness session and then rounded out with swing time in our indoor golf performance studio to practice what was worked on during the session.

This program bridges our Little Linksters and Junior Tour programs into structured on-course play.

Golf 101 (Beginner)

We are excited to announce our **Pee Wee Golf Clinic** for ages 4–6 at **The Philadelphia Cricket Club**. 

Join PGA Coach **Todd Roy** and our professional staff as we introduce your little ones to the game of golf in a fun, supportive, and engaging environment.

Whether they are picking up a club for the first time or have already shown an interest in hitting balls, our Pee Wee Clinic is designed to provide junior golfers with a "bite-size" introduction to the sport. We focus on the core fundamentals of the game while developing the essential motor skills needed for a lifetime of golf.

The Pee Wee program is an excellent entry point for our youngest athletes. At this age, we prioritize enjoyment and basic coordination, ensuring that every participant leaves the course with a smile and a newfound confidence in their abilities.

Our clinic will focus on the building blocks of a great golf game, including:

- **The Fundamentals:** Learning the proper grip, stance, and aim through creative storytelling and simple drills.
- **Short Game Fun:** Putting and chipping games that turn practice into play.
- **Full Swing Basics:** Developing a natural, athletic motion in a safe and structured setting.
- **On-Course Experience:** Navigating the green and understanding basic course etiquette in a way that is easy for 4-to-6-year-olds to understand.

**Equipment Needed:**

If you have golf clubs for your participant, please bring them. If not, please let Todd know or visit the golf shop before the clinics start.

**PGA HOPE is the flagship military program of the PGA of America. PGA HOPE is designed to introduce golf to Veterans and Active Duty Military to support their social, emotional, and physical well being.**

Join PGA HOPE alongside your fellow Veterans and Servicemembers. PGA HOPE has served thousands of Veterans and Servicemembers across the United States through one of our 300+ locations.

This introductory program is designed to welcome those of all ages, branches and eras of service, genders, and abilities to the golf course and share in camaraderie and fun together as a group. During this session you will learn the basics from grip to 9 holes of golf from PGA and LPGA Professionals.

- No golf equipment is required. If you do have clubs and/or any specialty equipment, please bring them with you.
- No prior golf experience necessary
- No VA disability rating required
- Veterans do not have to have combat or deployments in order to participate
- All expenses associated with PGA HOPE are covered
