Nike's new golf shoe, the Tour Premiere PE "Car-Nasty," features "NASTY" in red on the outsole of the shoe. That is in homage to the nickname of Carnoustie Golf Links in Scotland, as the course exposes players to winds and has a narrow layout.

On Thursday, McIlroy showed off the new shoe in his first round of the tournament.
According to Kevin Cunningham of Golf.com, Nike is releasing a limited quantity of the "NASTY" shoes. Thursday, July 19, marked the first day of availability, coinciding with the first round of the 147th Open Championship.
