What's the best course available to the public in Tennessee?

That's exactly what we asked our friends in the Volunteer State for this week's, 'A Quick Nine,' feature. And, no surprise, you were all extremely helpful.

Below are the top nine responses we received from you on the Facebook page:

Editor's note: If you've played any of the courses listed below, please take a minute to click through and leave a review.

9. Three Ridges Golf Course, Knoxville, Tenn. Here is a description of the course from its website: Three Ridges Golf Course is one of Knoxville's premier public golf facilities. 5. Lost Creek Golf Club, New Market, Tenn. Lost Creek states that its goal is to provide a, "fun and challenging course at an affordable price." Done and done. At 6,020 yards from the back tees, it's far from the longest course you'll ever play, but you're not likely to find a more beautiful AND affordable place with $15 greens fees Monday-Friday.

As if that wasn't enough, we at spoke to Lost Creek PGA Head Professional Roger Price, who couldn't have been more pleasant and helpful. So, stop in to Lost Creek and say hello.

3. Gaylord Springs Golf Links, Nashville, Tenn. It's not often that you find a piece of Scotland in the U.S., but that's what you get at Gaylord Springs. Designed by former U.S. Open and PGA champion Larry Nelson, the Scottish links-style, par 72 layout offers 18 challenging holes bordered by scenic limestone bluffs.

Mirimichi makes you think, forces you to react, and requires you to be at your best. Five to eight tee boxes are provided on every hole to accommodate all player levels.
