Olympia Fields, Ill. – LPGA Tour stars Brooke Henderson and Stacy Lewis were on-hand at Olympia Fields Country Club today for the 2017 KPMG Women’s PGA Championship Media Day.
Coming off her first Major victory just a year ago, Henderson reflected on life as a Major Champion and how the experience of winning the 2016 KPMG Women’s PGA Championship changed her career. She was joined by KPMG brand ambassador and two-time Major Champion Stacy Lewis, who shared her thoughts about the Championship, Olympia Fields Country Club and why Chicago is such a perfect fit for this Major Championship.
Brooke and Stacy shared the stage this morning with the following Championship representatives:

Mike Whan, Commissioner, LPGA
Following today’s press conference, Stacy Lewis will take the mound at Wrigley Field, home of the 2016 World Series Champions, tonight to throw out the ceremonial first pitch in advance of the Chicago Cubs’ contest against the Cincinnati Reds at 7 p.m.
Heard at the press conference:
“People dream of this opportunity -- to be able to hoist this trophy, to win a Major Championship, to win any tournament on the LPGA Tour is amazing, and to win a Major Championship is even better.” - Brooke Henderson, Defending Champion
“It's a big deal for us to be here [Olympia Fields], and that was one of the stipulations I gave KPMG is we need to be on golf courses we historically have not played in the past. That's what you guys, the PGA, has helped us do.” - Stacy Lewis, two-time Major Champion
