Bubba Watson hits home run over Fenway Park's Green Monster... sort of

The PGA Tour is in Norton, Mass., this week for the Dell Technologies Championship, the second leg of the FedExCup Playoffs.

Fenway Park -- home of the Boston Red Sox -- is roughly 40 miles north of TPC Boston.

On Thursday, Bubba Watson paid a visit to the iconic ballpark. The home team was on the road a few hours south in the Bronx to take on the rival Yankees, so Watson had the park to himself.

Armed with a pink bat -- would you expect anything less? -- Watson took some BP.

He even hit a homer over the Green Monster... sort of.

Watson -- just a few yards away from the Monstah -- had someone pitch him what looked to be a whiffle ball from 37 feet up on the top of the Monstah. From there, Watson did his best impression of David Ortiz and knocked it out of the park.

While there, Watson was also able to spray paint homeplate:

Thanks @redsox @fenwaypark for letting me be a kid! What an honor to paint home plate. #Blessed

Watson -- "Freak Show" -- was also brought in to... ummm... pinch hit:

Dream stuff happening today! Maybe I should get called up to play! #Fenway

Later in the day, Watson attended the New England Patriots/New York Giants preseason game at Gillette and was able to watch Tom Brady lead the five-time Super Bowl champions through the tunnel:

Watching @patriots come down the tunnel was special! That #12 always gets in the camera. #Patriots

Before the game, Watson also had the chance to mingle with Pats owner Robert Kraft, Brady and head coach Bill Belichick:

Get that guy a lobstah roll, a Fenway Frank and a Sam Adams and he's had the most epic New England sports day ever.
