Bust out those calculators -- Scottish Open boasts ‘math equation flags’ at Dundonald Links
They say golf is a mental game – and the Scottish Open is taking that mindset to a whole new level.
Sure, it takes cerebral resolve to be able to drain that clutch putt, or to hit fairway after fairway off the tee. But at Dundonald Links, the flags literally have math equations on them.

The hashtag “#MakingMathsCount” is a nod to a Scottish government organization that encourages greater enthusiasm for math.
Math teachers across the globe now have a fun, golf-related wrinkle they can toss into their next problem set.
