Chris Wood needed to birdie the 18th hole to make the cut at the Open Championship. No easy task, right?
For Wood, perhaps it was too easy. The Englishman eagled 18 in impressive fashion. Take a look:
The shot is impressive by itself – but when you take the high-pressure stakes into account, it’s extraordinary. Still, Wood will be at the bottom of the leaderboard once Saturday play begins. But if he can use this shot as momentum, Wood might be able to skyrocket up the rankings.
