Pepper returns to the air as CBS analyst
NAPA, Calif. (AP) — Dottie Pepper has joined the CBS Sports golf broadcasting team and will return to full-time work.
Pepper will start work next year at Torrey Pines for the Farmers Insurance Open. Her work with CBS on the course and occasionally in a booth also will take her to the Masters and the PGA Championship.
She most recently was working for ESPN, and she became available when ESPN signed over its rights to the British Open one year early to NBC.
CBS Sports Chairman Sean McManus says she will remain with ESPN for the rest of their golf coverage. She becomes the first woman on the CBS broadcast team for PGA Tour events. Pepper was with NBC Sports until leaving in 2012 to reduce her travel schedule
