Tiger Woods score, tee time, updates on Friday at the 2019 PGA Championship

Tiger Woods is approaching history at the 2019 PGA Championship. A major winner again after his thrilling Masters triumph last month — his first major title in 11 years — Tiger is now one away from tying Sam Snead for most PGA Tour wins (82).

6:32 p.m. ET: Tiger's day is done, at 5-over for the weekend

Woods wraps up his day with a par, but it wasn't his best effort. Tiger finished the day 3 over and will likely miss the cut.

6:19 p.m. ET: Tiger 5-over heading into 18

The projected cut is 4 over. Tiger at least needs a birdie to play through the weekend.

5:54 p.m. ET: PAR for Woods on No. 15, still fighting to make the cut

Par may not sound too interesting, but they've been rare today for Tiger.

5:16 p.m. ET: BIRDIE for Tiger on No. 13

Woods desperately needed that one, and now sits at +4. He's fighting to make the cut at this point.

4:47 p.m. ET: BOGEY for Woods on No. 11, up to 4-over

Tiger's on cut watch now. Just doesn't appear to be his tournament.

4:22 p.m. ET: BOGEY for Woods on No. 10, back to 3-over

The up-and-down play from Tiger continues. Missed a medium-length putt and has to take the bogey.

4:03 p.m. ET: BIRDIE for Tiger on No. 9, par for the day

Tiger hit a lengthy putt to even out his round for the day.

3:18 p.m ET: BIRDIE on No. 6, down to 2-over

Tiger needed this birdie badly, his first of the day.

3:08 p.m. ET: PAR on No. 5, still at 3-over

Tiger notched an impressive par save on the fifth hole, but it's getting late early. He's still yet to hit s fairway off the tee today.

2:20 p.m. ET: BOGEY, up to 3-over

Tiger's second round doesn't start off any better than his first. Missed a tough, but reasonable putt to bogey.

2:03 p.m. ET: PAR on hole No. 1

Tiger recovered from a brutal tee shot to convert par. Meanwhile, Brooks Koepka sank another birdie, picking up right where he left off yesterday.

1:33 p.m.: END OF ROUND 1, Tiger finishes 2-over at 72

Tiger got off to a decent start, but really struggled on the back nine. Take a look at his round.

1:17 p.m.: Tiger struggling

Now at 2-over through 17 holes, enduring a stretch of three bogeys in four holes. On a lighter note, here's this.

12:20 p.m.: BOGEY for Tiger, now even

Uncharacteristic miss for Tiger on the 14th green, where he three-putted. He's now even for the day as Brooks Koepka gets to 6-under.

12 p.m. : EAGLE for Tiger, now 1-under

Tiger has gone birdie-birdie-par-eagle since the turn and is suddenly 1-under for the round. That's his first eagle at Bethpage.

11:04 a.m.: Tiger gets one back, is 2-over

Tiger now has two birdies to match his two doubles thanks to his birdie on No. 1. Koepka also birdied the hole to maintain his spot on top.

10:54 a.m.: Tiger makes turn at 3-over

He has one of only two birdies on No. 15 today, but Tiger is still 3-over as he goes to the first tee. Koepka, though, is tied for the lead at 3-under.
