Watch José María Olazábal nearly hole out on Hole 16 at Monday's Masters practice round

There are many things that get the fans excited at the Masters. It usually starts with hole No. 16 during the practice rounds.

In what has become yet another tradition at Augusta National, the PGA's finest are seemingly expected to attempt to skip their ball over the pond on the 16th, hoping to sink a memorable shot. José María Olazábal got things rolling with a highlight-reel skip at Monday's Masters practice round.

José María Olazábal, who won the Masters in both 1994 and 1999, took aim at the lip off the lake. The ball skips five times across the pond and takes an unbelievable left turn, nearly holing out for the two-time champ.

You can track the 16th on the Masters Tournament Twitter feed throughout Monday's practice round.
