In one of the greatest National Championship games you'll ever see, Alabama defeated Georgia 26-23 in overtime on Monday night.
There are loads of players on the PGA Tour who proudly attended those schools and take their college football almost as serious as a putt to win a tournament.
Two of those players are Alabama product/2017 PGA Champion Justin Thomas and Georgia's Kevin Kisner.
The two put a friendly wager on the game.
Here, we'll let them explain:
Since Georgia lost, after being in control most of the game, Kisner was forced to pay up on Thursday, where -- as luck of the draw would have it (yeah, right) -- he was paired with Thomas.
I wonder if there was any needling for the 16 holes leading up to the par-3 17th when Kisner finally had to slip into that 'Bama jersey.
Here's Kisner being a good sport in the Crimson Tide jersey.
Thomas (67) also got the better of Kisner (68) in Round 1.
UPDATE: Kisner has tweeted that he and Thomas both signed the jersey. He'll be auctioning it off with all proceeds going to the Kisner Foundation. Cool move.
