BENTON HARBOR, MICH., – Golf fans and foodies alike will find inspiration at the KitchenAid Senior PGA Championship when it returns to Benton Harbor, Michigan, over Memorial Day Weekend, May 24-28. For the first time at Harbor Shores, KitchenAid will take center stage as the title sponsor of the Senior PGA Championship and introduce a newly reimagined on-site fan experience.
Three renowned celebrity chefs from across the country will be serving up live cooking demonstrations at this year’s fan experience. Headliners include TV personality, culinary traveler, author of Straight Up Tasty, and host of Cooking Channel’s “Secret Eats with Adam Richman,” Adam Richman; Co-Host of ABC’s Emmy-Award Winning daytime series “The Chew” and Bravo “Top Chef” alumni Carla Hall and finally, the Culinary Director at Food & Wine, host of Mad Genius LIVE, James Beard Award nominee and author of two cookbooks, Justin Chapple. Local chefs, including Tim Foley of Bread + Bar, Cheyenne Galbraith of The Boulevard Inn & Bistro, Mike Kenat from Salt of The Earth, Abra Berens from Granor Farm and all-day chef from KitchenAid, Chris Covelli, will round out the cooking demonstration schedule.
Located near the Main Championship Entrance, the KitchenAid Fairway Club is open to the public and serves as the main experience center where fans can see firsthand the brand’s love for cooking, baking and making. A full suite of small and large appliances will be on display to touch and feel, including more than 50 colors and finishes of the iconic KitchenAid® Stand Mixer and a selection of the popular line of black stainless appliances.
Out on the course, fans will notice a plethora of colorful stand mixers on pedestals lining the walkways, and a complete kitchen demo on holes 11 and 16. Also returning to the Championship this year, is the KitchenAid immersive video experience. This experience, located along hole 9 in Jean Klock Park, puts fans inside of a KitchenAid dishwasher and a KitchenAid Stand Mixer to see how these appliance operate from the inside out.

On Championship Saturday, KitchenAid and the PGA of America will cater to kids and families with the return of Kid’s Day at the KitchenAid Fairway Club. Kid’s Day activities will include photo opportunities with the Alfred S. Bourne trophy, a smoothie race led by KitchenAid Chef Chris Covelli and a full afternoon of programming at the YMCA Kids Zone, located in Jean Klock Park, between holes 7-9.

The partnership between KitchenAid and the PGA of America began in 2011 when the brand signed on as presenting sponsor of the Senior PGA Championship. In 2016, KitchenAid announced an expanded partnership with the PGA of America to become the title sponsor of the Senior PGA Championship through 2024. Harbor Shores, in turn, became the home course of the KitchenAid Senior PGA Championship.
