NCAA champion Braden Thornberry hung up on 'Folf' in hilarious '30 for 30' spoof
People love golf. They also love football. And while combining those sports may not seem natural – this isn’t as clean of a fit as, say, frisbee golf – Ole Miss golfer Braden Thornberry has figured out a way to do so. An entertaining way, at that.
Watch as Thornberry participates in a "30 for 30" spoof, detailing his love for both sports. That’s how “Folf” was born:
What if I told you, this is the greatest @30for30 you will ever see? @tberrygolf made a sacrifice for the game he loved. #ItsNotYourFolf pic.twitter.com/r6qvBA2j23

Obviously, this is tongue-in-cheek. But it sure is entertaining. The fake documentary is about Thornberry’s love for the (also fake) sport of Folf, and those around him trying to get him to drop it. He’s too good of a golfer to be hung up on a game that his coach simply calls “stupid.”
His coach even goes as far as to say, “In the words of my man AI (Allen Iverson)…we’re talking about, Folf?”
Hilarious. In all seriousness, Thornberry is an outstanding golfer with an even better sense of humor. The two minutes are well worth your time.
