Bridgestone Golf returns to PGA Merchandise Show with new golf balls, innovations

COVINGTON, Ga. — Bridgestone Golf, the #1 Ball-Fitter in Golf, has announced the company’s plans to return to the PGA Merchandise Show, Jan. 22-25, in Orlando, Florida. Bridgestone will unveil exciting additions to its industry-leading ball-fitting program and conduct hands-on product testing at the PGA Show Demo Day. They will also showcase a comprehensive lineup of their newest products to more than 40,000 attending PGA Professionals and golf retailers from around the world on the PGA Show floor.

"We are excited to return to the PGA Merchandise Show to promote our newest products and to roll out the next phase of our proprietary ball-fitting program to PGA Professionals and leading retailers,” said Bridgestone Golf President and CEO Dan Murphy. “Custom fitting for golf balls was a concept we pioneered 12 years ago and introduced to the world at the PGA Merchandise Show. It has provided us with large amounts of data, which have proven to be a valuable tool for us to customize the performance of our balls to fit a wide range of different swing types. The PGA Show has served as an important launching pad for us; whether it is for new products or new ways we have identified to better serve golfers, we have high expectations for ourselves in 2019. There is no better way to kick off what promises to be a successful year ahead for our brand.”

The PGA Merchandise Show is the global golf industry’s annual summit for the business of golf, hosting close to 1,000 top golf companies and brands and more than 40,000 golf industry professionals. PGA Show Week begins with PGA Show Demo Day, the world’s largest professional golf testing event on Tuesday, Jan. 22, at the Orange County National Golf Center. During PGA Show days, Jan. 23-25, the latest equipment, technology, and trends are uncovered within nearly one million square feet of exhibit, demonstration and meeting space of the Orange County Convention Center.

“We are excited to welcome back Bridgestone Golf to the PGA Merchandise Show,” said PGA Golf Exhibitions Event Vice President Marc Simon. “Their participation helps to build an unparalleled marketplace for PGA Professionals and golf retailers to discover the latest innovations to help improve the golf experience for players and fans worldwide. We are excited Bridgestone will be on-site to share with our attendees the launch of their innovative ball-fitting 2.0 program in 2019. In addition, hands-on testing of their products and personal interaction with their company leadership team are of great value to attending industry professionals.”
