WATCH: Tiger Woods almost makes first PGA Tour ace since 1998

Tiger Woods has had an up-and-down opening round at the Farmers Insurance Open, but it was his tee shot on No. 16 that gave us the highlight of the day.

The 8-time winner at Torrey Pines hit a 6-iron from 188 yards that was inches from finding the bottom of the cup. It would have ended a crazy long hole-in-one drought for a player of Woods' caliber. The last ace he hit was at the 1998 Sprint International. (h/t Jason Sobel).
