The Open Championship 2018: Tournament purse and winner's share

Here is the final prize money breakdown for 2018's The Open Championship at Carnoustie.

The total purse is $10.5 million, and the overall winner will take home $1.89 million.

Last year, Jordan Spieth took home $1.845 million with the Claret Jug.

This year, after 70th place, prize money decreases by $125 per place to a minimum of $13,500, according to CBS.
