âThank youâ because it was your feedback, your insights and your requests that have led to this newest iteration of PGA.com. Golf means so many things to so many people and we believe we are now in position to meet your needs better than ever before, better than any other golf medium on the web.
One of the first things you may notice is that the site will be emphasizing YOUR game more than ever before. Golf is a great sport to watch, and weâll continue to bring you the best in news and event coverage â including expanded coverage of The PGA of Americaâs premiere events such as The PGA Championship, The Senior PGA Championship, The Ryder Cup and The PGA Grand Slam of Golf. But youâre also going to see a renewed and refined effort to connect you to the stories, products and services that will help you enjoy playing golf more than you ever have before. This means connecting you to the best golf courses in America, instruction from the best teachers, reviews and guides from equipment experts and even finding some of the best travel deals and locations for you.
We encourage you to âkick the tiresâ and really look deep into the new PGA.com experience. Check out the new golf courses section, find an instructor near you using our new search features and keep tabs on your golf buddies and how their games are progressing. Another feature is the ability to create a âWish Listâ that, hopefully, we can help you fulfill on the dream courses youâd like to play across America.
Even more, your experience on the new PGA.com is going to include more interaction, more engagement and more utility for you. For years, we have been presenting you great analysis and information on all things golf. Itâs been pretty much a one-way conversation. But now, your responses and feedback will play an integral role on some of the most prominent areas of the website. We not only encourage, we want and need your help in writing reviews of courses, offering opinions on stories and sharing your experiences with us and the other readers. Moreover, there will now be a third channel of communication â the interactions between you, the entire PGA.com community, that will ultimately prove to be the greatest success of the site. We are utilizing the reach and power of Facebook Connect to ensure that you and your friends are able to stay closely involved in each otherâs golf games; regardless of whether you're are teeing it up together or not. We will be a clubhouse of sorts, a hub that will connect those who love golf to share stories, learn tidbits and exchange insights that will help you enjoy golf more than ever.
And these new features are not all! We will be rolling out new features in the weeks and months ahead that will do even more to make sure that you are getting the most out of your love and passion for this great game. Soon, youâll be be able to book tee times at thousands of courses nationwide. Also, look for new Instruction and Equipment features including video swing analysis and new product reviews from experts and your peers that will guide you to the perfect clubs for your game. You can also expect great travel deals, apparel features and great offers on PGA Merchandise in the PGA.com Shop.
And of course, we will â in fact, more than ever before â continue to leverage the skills and talents of the true experts in the game and business of golf, the PGA Professional.
