It's no secret that Augusta National Golf Club is hard.
And that's when you're in play. When you're out of play like three-time Masters champ Phil Mickelson was after an errant tee shot on the first hole in Round 3 on Saturday, it's near impossible.
Mickelson, who made the cut on the number at 5-over 149 after 36 holes, sent his opening tee shot in Round 3 well right and into the trees.

From there, he attempted to escape, but instead, whiffed his second shot:

Mickelson was able to get out of that mess with his third shot, but ultimately walked off with a triple-bogey 7.
