Schedule: Thursday-Sunday.
Course: Trump National Doral, Blue Monster (7,543 yards, par 72).
Purse: $9.5 million. Winner's share: $1,612,432.
 
Last year: Dustin Johnson rallied to win his second WGC title, finishing with a 3-under 69 to beat J.B. Holmes by a stroke.
 
Last week: Adam Scott won the Honda Classic at PGA National in Palm Beach Gardens. The Australian closed with an even-par 70 for a one-stroke victory over Sergio Garcia. ... South Africa's Louis Oosthuizen won the Perth International by a stroke. The event was sanctioned by the European, Australasian and Asian tours.
 
Notes: Top-ranked Jordan Spieth missed the cut two weeks ago at Riviera in his last start. He won at Kapalua in January. ... Second-ranked Jason Day also is in the 66-player field along with No. 3 Rory McIlroy, No. 4 Bubba Watson and No. 5 Rickie Fowler. ... The PGA Tour will remain in Florida the next two weeks for the Valspar Championship in Palm Harbor and the Arnold Palmer Invitational in Orlando.

HSBC WOMEN'S CHAMPIONS

Course: Sentosa Golf Club, Serapong Course (6,660 yards, par 72).
Purse: $1.5 million. Winner's share: $225,000.
 
Last year: South Korea's Inbee Park beat Lydia Ko by two strokes.
 
Last week: Lexi Thompson won the Honda LPGA Thailand for her seventh tour title. The 21-year-old American shot 64-72-64-68 for a six-stroke victory.
 
Notes: The top-ranked Ko, No. 2 Park, No. 3 Thompson and No. 4 Stacy Lewis are in the 60-player field. ... Paula Creamer won in 2014 with a 75-foot eagle putt on the second hole of a playoff with Azahara Munoz. ... The tour is off next week. Play will resume March 17-20 with the JTBC Founders Cup in Phoenix.
