Qualification criteria for the Boys Junior PGA Championship

To play in the Boys Junior PGA Championship you must earn an exemption.

Below are the guidelines upon which an exemption in to the 2019 Boys Junior PGA Championship is granted:

A) PGA of America Events:

A-1) Top 10 Eligible, 2018 Junior PGA Championship
A-2) Champion, 2019 PGA Section Championship
A-3) PGA Section At Large Bid
A-4) Host PGA Section Exemption (Connecticut)

B) National Junior Events:

B-1) Champion, Runner-up and Semifinalists
USGA Junior Amateur (2018 & 2019)

B-2) Champion and Runner-up
The Junior PLAYERS Championship (2018)

Bobby Chapman Junior Invitational (2018)
The PING Invitational (2018)

Rolex Tournament of Champions (2018)

Jones Cup Junior Invitational (2018)
Simplify Boys Championship at Carlton Woods (2019)
Junior Invitational at Sage Valley Golf Club (2019)

Scott Robertson Memorial (2019)
Thunderbird International Junior (2019)
Haas Family Invitational (2019)
Western Junior Championship (2019)
Polo Golf Junior Classic (2019)

B-3) Champion

National High School Golf Association Invitational (2019)

B-4) 2018 Rolex Junior All-America First Team
B-5) Top 10, GOLFWEEK/SAGARIN Rankings as of June 1, 2019
