New York, NY – With less than 2 months until the 101st PGA Championship at Bethpage Black, the PGA has announced a sell-out of Saturday grounds tickets for the May event.
To date, Championship tickets have been purchased by fans from all 50 states and 52 different countries. Additionally, nearly 3,600 volunteers representing 45 states and 17 different countries have registered to be a part of the historic event.
With a sell-out of Sunday tickets close behind, the PGA encourages all fans interested in attending the Championship to make plans now before it’s too late.
Fans are reminded that as a part of the PGA of America’s commitment to growing the game of golf, each ticketed adult can bring up to four children aged 17 or younger onto the grounds for free. Junior tickets will be available each day of the Championship week, regardless of sellout. In addition, Active Duty, Retirees, Reserve, National Guard and their accompanying guests (limit one) will receive complimentary daily grounds access, regardless of sellout.
