Watch Jim Furyk sink putt for PGA Tour record, celebrate with fans
In 2016, Jim Furyk made history. On a Sunday at the Travelers Championship, Furyk shot a 58, still the lowest score in PGA Tour history.
Furyk carded 10 birdies, one eagle, and seven pars on the day at TPC River Highlands and ended up finishing T5 at 11-under.
Golf Twitter started to pick up on the hysteria around hole No. 13, and folks in attendance were on pins and needles once Furyk hit the 18th green. After missing a difficult putt for birdie, the man of the hour delivered:
