Watch Lego Jack Nicklaus win the 1970 Open Championship

Jack Nicklaus lifted the Claret Jug for the second time at the 99th Open Championship at St. Andrews.

Golf fans young and old have seen the Golden Bear clinch the win on the final hole of the Open's first ever 18-hole playoff countless times.

But, you've never seen it like this.

Yup, that's Lego Nicklaus sinking the winning putt, throwing his putter in the air in a fit of uncharacteristic emotion and shaking hands with Doug Sanders, who twice finished second to Nicklaus at the Open but never won a major championship.

Our friends at The Golf Channel created this fun take on history in anticipation of the 146th Open Championship at Royal Birkdale which begins Thursday and can be seen on Golf Channel and NBC all weekend.

Hopefully, it'll be an Open that deserves to be recreated in Lego form a few decades from now.
