Golf's major championships are well-known for their intense pressure, and Carnoustie is no different.
But usually that pressure is felt on the course itself, not while trying to get there.
Matt Kuchar may have had some nerves before his round at the Open Thursday morning, however, after deciding to go to the bathroom just minutes before his first-round tee time.
After relieving himself, Kuchar sprinted to the first tee, making it with just seconds to spare before his 9:47 (local time) tee time. Ever the gentleman, he paused to shake the hands of the volunteers before emerging, of course.

The 40-year-old then parred the hole on his way to a 1-under first round.
