Watch: Tiger Woods holes 71-foot putt to take lead at Bay Hill

To say Tiger Woods is trending in the right direction would be a gross understatement.

After a T12 at the Honda Classic, Woods finished T2 on Sunday at the Valspar Championship.

This week, he's at Bay Hill for the Arnold Palmer Invitational -- a tournament he's won a record eight times, including his last start there in 2013.

In a way, you could almost call him the defending champion along with 2017 winner Marc Leishman.

Well, Tiger's also showing that he still has quite the affection for the home of Arnie.

On the seventh hole Thursday in the first round -- his 16th of the day -- Woods holed a 71-foot birdie putt to take the outright lead at 4-under par.

Check out the putt here:

We feel you, Tiger. All you can do is laugh when putts like that one drop in.
