Tiger Woods' first round at the Memorial Tournament was nothing to write home about, after an even-par 72 left him tied for 50th.

But Friday, Woods came roaring back. After four birdies in seven holes on the front nine, Woods sat on the fairway of the Par-5 11 after two shots. Then he did this:

Vintage Tiger.

Play was suspended due to rain, but Tiger managed one more birdie in the round — on 15 — before a bogey on 17:

Woods finished the day with a 5-under 67, putting him at a tie for 24th place, just six shots off the lead heading into the weekend.
