Course: Westchester Country Club, West Course (6,670 yards, par 73).
Purse: $3.5 million. Winner's share: $525,000.
Last year: South Korea's Inbee Park won the then-LPGA Championship in Pittsford, New York, for the second straight year. She beat Brittany Lincicome with a par on the first hole of a playoff.
Last week: Norway's Suzann Pettersen won the Manulife LPGA Classic in Canada for her 15th LPGA Tour victory and first since October 2013. Brittany Lang was second, a stroke back.
Notes: The tournament, run by the PGA of America for the first time, is the second of the tour's five major championships. Lincicome won the ANA Inspiration in April in California. ... Top-ranked Lydia Ko, No. 2 Park and Sei Young Kim each have two victories this season. ... Westchester Country Club was the longtime home of the PGA Tour event now called The Barclays. ... The tour is off next week. Play will resume June 26-28 with the NW Arkansas Championship.

Last year: Ben Crane won the rain-delayed event, shooting 69-73 in a 30-hole Sunday finish for a one-stroke victory.
Last week: Sweden's David Lingmerth won the Memorial in Dublin, Ohio, for his first PGA Tour title, outlasting Justin Rose with a par on the third hole of a playoff.
Notes: The U.S. Open is next week at Chambers Bay in University Place, Washington. ... Phil Mickelson is making his fifth start in the tournament. He's winless since the 2013 British Open. ... NCAA champion Bryson DeChambeau is in the field. The SMU player qualified for the U.S. Open on Monday in Columbus, Ohio. ... Al Geiberger shot the first 59 in PGA Tour history in his 1977 victory at Colonial Country Club.

Course: Belmont Country Club (6,855 yards, par 71).
Purse: $2.7 million. Winner's share: $405,000.
Last year: Bernhard Langer won at Fox Chapel in Pittsburgh, beating Jeff Sluman with a birdie on the second hole of a playoff.
Last week: Mark Calcavecchia won the Principal Charity Classic in Iowa for his third Champions Tour title. He beat Joe Durant and Brian Henninger by a stroke.
Notes: The tournament is the third of the tour's five major championships. Last month, Jeff Maggert won the Regions Tradition in Alabama, and Colin Montgomerie successfully defended his Senior PGA Championship title in Indiana. Montgomerie has won three of the last six majors, also taking the U.S. Senior Open last year. ... The tour is off next week. Play will resume June 25-28 with the U.S. Senior Open at Del Paso in Sacramento, California.

Last week: Alexander Noren won the Nordea Masters by four strokes in his native Sweden. He also won the 2011 title.
Notes: Wiesberger won the 2012 tournament. ... In 2006 at Fontana, Markus Brier won the tournament for the third time to become the first Austrian champion in European Tour history. The event was part of the second-tier Challenge Tour when Brier won in 2002 and 2004.
