Joe MoseleyHead Golf Professional
Joe Moseley here, a seasoned golf operations and teaching professional with over 15 years of industry experience, currently serving as the Head Golf Professional at the Palatka Golf Club located in Palatka, Florida. In my career I have worked at 6 different golf facilities scattered across the north central portion of the state of Florida and have teaching experience at each facility. Palatka, FL. is the town I grew up in, played competitive, played high school golf, and has always been considered home. I have extensive knowledge of the game of golf from a learning, playing and teaching aspect. First being introduced to the game at the age of 7, I fell in love with it immediately. I played many different sports up to that point and continued other sports and recreational activities until high school where I made the decision to focus on golf. At the age of 15 I started working in golf operations and quickly became a student of teaching the game to junior golfers. As I once did before, I fell in love with the game in a whole new way leading to the decision to make golf a career. Progressing through my career, I've taught players of all skill levels and abilities and am always working to improve my teaching/coaching knowledge and skills to continuously add value for my clients. Certified ADM(American Development Model) Professional, PGA Associate.

Palatka Golf Club
Palatka Golf Club established in 1925 and designed by world famous architect Donald Ross, is settled just on top of the Ravine Gardens State Park located in Palatka, FL. The business is privately owned by one PGA member who leases the facility from the city of Palatka and remains a public daily fee facility with a price point of under $40 per round. The course is relatively short being an older links style course but has plenty of teeth with a challenging layout and Donald Ross' famous small, turtle back greens. The course hosts the Florida Azalea Ametuer which yields double world golf ametuer ranking points, attracting elite players from all over the world. The facility offers an 18-hole golf course, clubhouse with restaurant and mens/ladies locker rooms, golf shop with the latest merchandise, electric golf cars, tournament packages, and instructional services.
