Hi, I’m Jon Mohan, a PGA Associate and Assistant Golf Professional at The Captains Golf Course in Brewster, Massachusetts. I work with juniors and adults of all skill levels, from beginners learning the game to players striving to lower their scores, improve their short game, or prepare for tournament play.

Having learned the game at Captains myself, it means a great deal to now coach at the place where my own golf journey began. My goal in every lesson is to create a positive, welcoming environment where students feel comfortable, understand what they are working on, and leave with a clear improvement plan.

My coaching style is encouraging, practical, and individualized. I like to build on a player’s strengths, simplify the next priority, and help each student make progress in a way that fits their goals and experience level. I want lessons to be productive, easy to understand, and enjoyable.

Junior golf is a special passion of mine. I serve as Head Coach of the PGA Jr. League at Captains and also help with junior camps, creating a fun and supportive environment where young golfers can build skills, confidence, and a lasting love for the game.
