Born in Washington DC as the oldest of 5 kids, Mike has always been an athlete and sportsman. He took up golf at 14 years old and immediately became a student of the game. Mike taught his daughter Lauren from a very early age and she became a 2.1 handicap by the time she was 12 years old practicing on a very limited basis. She won 38 out of 53 junior tournaments. Heavily influenced by some of the finest players and teachers of the game like Lee Trevino and Bob Toski and his own teachers Billy Wolfe and Dale Leith, Coach Mike helps students break 100, 90, 80, 70, or just enjoy the game even more.
