Scott enjoyed a 20 year sales and marketing career prior to starting the Professional Golf Management Program as a 48 year old apprentice professional. He graduated the University of Richmond in 1986 with a BA in American Studies. During his college career he worked part time at the Westhampton golf shop for then Head Professional, Bill Spellman. After his college years, Scott spent 4 years in the USMC attaining the rank of Corporal during the first Gulf War.

When Scott is not attending to arriving patrons at the James River Gazebo he spends time with his Spouse of 5 years, Kristine Hubbard, the proprietor of the Local Scout and Molly’s franchise in the James River shopping plaza.

Scott enjoys wine and playing “Wordle” when he is not on the golf course.
