From beginner to the most capable golfers. Everyone needs another set of eyes to help them see and understand there golf swings. For the last 30+ years my golf game has reached the highest peaks to the lowest valley's. During those times I learned the most essential parts of the game of golf. After countless practice balls and rounds of golf, I have learned that the game of golf is more mental than pysical. I am not saying that physical ability isnt important. But after being cleaned up by and 82 year old who was puting the ball in the fairway, then on to the green, making this game look so darn easy. While i was trying to hammer everyshot as far and as close to the flag as i could, leaving myself in big trouble most of the time. I have learned that there are 3 keys to the game in my opinion. Ready....... here they are. 1. A sence of humor - we are all going to make mistakes, a lot, even the most seasoned golfer has hit a hozzle rocket or a "Sha*&". The important part is, what happens next. The better we become at realizing it was a mistake, the more relaxed we can be getting ourself back into play, and salvaging a decent number on the card. Which brings me to number 2. Confidence - Just like any aspect of life, uncertantity can rattle even the largest cages, it takes away our abilty to control a situation. It takes a simple 100 yard shot and turns it into a 87.4 yard, 6 degree downhill with a 12 mph SSW wind shot. Geez! Thats stressful. Do you want to know what the pros want to know? Which direction and how far, hmmm.... that seems pretty simple. My confidence standing over a ball with a direction and distance in mind (with the other things taken into account to help me get to the simple shot) is way less discouraging. And finally last but not least the third, Knowledge - we need to understand how create the contact needed to make the ball go in that direction and that far. There are some very important fundamentals involved to help us make the most efficient golf swings that we are physically capable of. I would love the oppurtunity to share these with you and help you along in your golf journey. Cheers!
