Tim is a native of Queenbury, NY & has served as the assistant professional at the Sagamore Resort Golf Club for the past five years. Upon graduation from McDaniel College where Tim graduated as a Centennial Conference All-Academic Team member and participated in multiple Division 1, 2, &3 golf tournaments, he began his golf instruction journey as the lead golf instructor at the Sagamore Resort Golf Club. During his tenure at the Sagamore, Tim has conducted world-class individual & group player development programs teaching all age groups from junior golfers to retirees who sought out his expertise. Tim continues to be a student of the game and has studied and earned certifications from coaches of world number 1 golfer Jon Rahm, Dr. Greg Rose & Dave Phillips at the Titleist Performance Institute (TPI). Taking the teaching principles of TPI and assessing students’ body-swing connection and physical traits, Tim has learned to adapt his teaching to cater to one’s physical abilities to perfect their own swing. Furthermore, Tim utilizes physical assessments & drills as well as training aids and advanced technology during instruction to help students foster new motor skills, have fun, and lower their scores.
