Trey M. Johnson, PGA
Director of Golf
Trey Johnson grew up in Littleton, Colorado and graduated from University of Nevada Las Vegas in 2016 with a degree in Hospitality Management and a concentration in PGA Golf Management. Trey was elected to PGA Membership is Spring 2017.
Trey is entering his 11th season with the Vail Golf Club and was promoted to Director of Golf in Summer 2025. Trey's passion is simplifying the game and creating a bond with his students. As a player who never took a golf lesson while learning the game, Trey loves to expedite the learning process for players to see improvements quickly.
When Trey is not at the Vail Golf Club, he enjoys skiing (both Nordic and Alpine), playing Golf, hiking with his dog Risa, and Paddleboarding.
