Amanda Barone
Ladies Golf Coordinatorassociate
Hi, I’m Amanda Barone. I’m originally from Woodbridge, Connecticut, and my passion for golf started early. I began teaching through The First Tee program as a teenager, and ever since, I’ve been dedicated to both playing and helping others grow in the game.
I competed in high school and went on to play NCAA Division II golf at Post University in Connecticut. After college, I became a golf professional at Great River Golf Club, where I had the incredible opportunity to revamp and grow the women’s program. I also built a strong and loyal teaching base, giving hundreds of lessons in just a few short years.
Throughout my career, I’ve been fortunate to be mentored by some of the game’s best, including Tom Rosati, Thomas Dyer, Jerry Tucker, John Bierkan, Bill Davis and others. Their guidance has helped shape my teaching style and approach to player development.
I’m passionate about growing the game, especially among women and junior golfers, and I’m committed to helping each student reach their full potential. My journey is just getting started, and I’m excited to continue learning, teaching, and inspiring the next generation of golfers.
