Boykin became a Class A member of the PGA of America in 2003 and became a PGA Master of Instruction in 2010.  He was born and raised in Charleston, SC and graduated from the University of South Carolina.  He spent a couple years at The Kiawah Island Golf Resort as an golf professional then traveled around the United States teaching golf for the Nike Golf Academy, The Ritson-Sole Golf Schools and GolfTEC before coming back to Charleston and taking the role of Head Golf Professional at "The Muni", in 2013.  He has now taught thousands of lessons for over 24 years and has become a US Kids TOP 50 Master Coach and a TrackMan Level 2 Certified Coach during that time.
