I graduated from high school just south of Dayton, Ohio. Since the age of 15, I knew I wanted to be a PGA Golf Professional. I attended Miami University while serving my PGA apprenticeship and was employed as a golf professional two days after graduation in Cincinnati. While in Cincinnati I met my beautiful wife, Cara. After we wed in 2008, we moved to her home town of Charleston, West Virginia where we still live with our two wonderful sons.
Take advantage of my 25 plus years of teaching experience. I believe in the American Developmental Model and the “part to whole method” of building and improving golf swings. Each lesson typically focuses on one “part” of the swing so that once it’s mastered, it becomes part of the “whole” swing. Using this method is effective and keeps the student from being overwhelmed with too many thoughts at one time.

ACC Golf Academy offers an area specifically for short game instruction and practice.
Practice Range
ACC Golf Academy's Practice Range has bent grass and artifical turf with Bridgestone practice balls. The range allows for use of every club in your bag.
9 Hole Donald Ross Golf Course
ACC Golf Academy is proud to provide on-course lessons on a Donald Ross designed golf course built in 1921. Jack Nicklaus and Arnold Palmer played for the first time together at Athens CC.
