Cameron Sjolund
Assistant Golf Professionalassociate
As a dedicated PGA Coach, I’m passionate about helping golfers of all levels develop the skills, confidence, and mindset needed to perform their best when it matters most. I specialize in short game development — the part of golf where rounds are truly won or lost. My coaching focuses on improving fundamentals, decision-making, and mental toughness around the greens, giving players the tools to turn good rounds into great ones.
I work extensively with high school and college athletes, guiding them through both competitive and developmental pathways — from sharpening tournament skills to navigating the recruiting process. Having helped numerous students secure athletic scholarships to JUCO, NAIA, and NCAA programs, I provide players with a clear roadmap for success on and off the course.
As college athletics continues to evolve, I also educate players on NIL (Name, Image, Likeness) opportunities. I help student-athletes understand their value, build their personal brand, and make smart, sustainable choices when partnering with sponsors. My goal is to empower athletes to thrive not just competitively, but professionally.
My coaching philosophy is shaped by years of experience as both a player and competitor. I’ve earned five professional wins (two in 2023, one in 2024, and two in 2025) within the Central Washington Chapter, and have qualified three consecutive years (2023–2025) for the prestigious Antigua Cup — achievements that reflect my deep understanding of the game at a high level. My playing career began with one year at the University of Idaho, followed by three years at Columbia Basin College, and includes participation in PGA Tour and U.S. Open Qualifiers — experiences that continue to shape my teaching approach today.
I offer personalized coaching for $50 per 30-minute session, focused on measurable progress, course strategy, and confidence building. Whether your goal is to make a college team, improve your short game, or simply lower your scores, I provide the tools, feedback, and motivation to help you get there. My students have combined for multiple wins between high school golf, college golf, and high level anateur golf including Dylan Stensland, the 2025 Central Washinton Amateur Chapter Champion!
Golf improvement doesn’t happen by accident — it happens through smart, focused practice with the right guidance. My mission is to help every player I work with unlock their potential and truly enjoy the process of getting better.
Let’s take your game to the next level.
