Dave has been the Head Golf Professional at Berkeley CC since February 2020. Before getting into the golf industry, Dave played four years of college golf at Limestone University in South Carolina. Originally from New York, Dave began his career as an Assistant Golf Professional at Sleepy Hollow Country Club under the direction of Master PGA Head Golf Professional Dave Young. After working at SHCC Dave spent six years as an Assistant at The Moors Golf Club in Kalamazoo Michigan where he fell in love with the teaching aspect of the game. While living in Michigan he met his wife Serie who convinced him to move a little further west where he took another Assistant Golf Professional job at Marin Country Club where he spent nine years there teaching, running tournaments and catering to the MCC membership. Throughout his time in the industry, he’s been teaching for over 15 years doing individual lessons, clinics and playing lessons with members and guests of all ages.

Dave was elected to membership of the PGA of America in February of 2019. He’s qualified and played in the Metropolitan Open and the Michigan Open a handful of times. He also has a couple of collegiate tournament wins as well while playing at LU. Dave likes to work on his game and loves to work with and teach others to help them get the full enjoyment out of the game of golf. When Dave is at home and not at work, he spends time with his wide Serie and playing other sports with his four children, Averi, Remy, Hudson and Piper.
