Mike Long
GM/PGA Professional Indian Valley Golf Club
Class A PGA Professional and was elected to membership in the Professional Golfers Association in April of 1994. He started his career in golf as the Head Professional at Southwick Golf Club located in Graham, North Carolina. Working with other area professionals to start the Alamance County Junior Golf Tour in 1989 which continues today 36 years later. Mike opened and managed The Challenge Golf Club, Graham, North Carolina, which was voted 2nd Best New Public Course in North Carolina in 1996. He was the General Manager and Head Professional at Bryan Park Golf & Conference Center, located in Greensboro, North Carolina. A 36 hole property and held the US Public Links Championship. Overall Mike has 35 years of experience in the golf industry in central North Carolina. Mike spent 11 years as the General Manager at Mill Creek Golf Club in Mebane North Carolina. Mike is presently the General Manager/ Head Professional at Indian Valley Golf Club in Burlington, North Carolina.

The Valley Golf Course
Burlington NC
Nestled along the banks of the Haw River, The Valley Golf Course offers the avid golfer a fair test of their golf game. The course's twists and turns make shot shaping a must and the well contoured bunkers provide the obstacles necessary for a skilled approach shot into the greens. The back drop of the Haw River on holes 10 through 13 provide for a natural experience whereby the city’s walking trail runs along the river while local kayaks or canoes float in it. The 18-hole Ellis Maples par 70 course is owned and operated by the City of Burlington and is available for regular and tournament play. Juniors and seniors are welcome.
