
Ricky Mosel
Director of Golf/Assistant General ManagerRicky Mosel is the Assistant General Manager at Upper Montclair Country Club in Clifton, NJ. His interest in golf started in his childhood with his father Rich and grandfather Stan. Stan, a member of the NJPGA Hall of Fame, was a very accomplished player and Golf Professional in New Jersey. Along with playing in several PGA Tour events and major championships, Stan served as Head Golf Professional at Essex Fells Country Club and Burning Tree Country Club in Connecticut.
Ricky was elected to PGA Membership in March of 2017 and continues his education in the Certified Program. He is PGA Certified in General Management and Teaching and Coaching and is Specialized in Golf Operations. In addition, Ricky has served on various NJPGA Committees including the Chairmen of the Assistants Association.
Playing competitively, Ricky has finished in the Top 30 on the NJPGA Assistants Points List, qualifying him for the Assistant Player’s Championship. He also enjoys competing in weekly Pro-Ams with Members and all Section Events held throughout the state. Ricky loves teaching and says – “Fundamentals are the most important part of the golf swing. Always go back to fundamentals.”
Ricky and his wife Stephanie reside in Denville, NJ with their two children Lucas and Abigail.
