I am the Director of instruction at Plantation Golf & Country Club and owner of Waggoner Golf Academy, LLC. I have over 10 years of golf instruction experience in the South Florida area. My passion is player development programs for all ages that get players on the course playing the actual game of golf. I run a year round Junior Program utilizing the Operation 36 curriculum. During the school year I run after school programs and weekend 9-Hole events for ages 4-16 years of age. In the Summer or over Christmas break I run week long golf camps that include a lot of time on the golf course. Using the Operation 36 curriculum, I also run a year round Ladies Golf Academy program that is designed for all levels of golfers and focuses on golf course improvement. My overall goal is to create more smiling golfers playing golf on a weekly basis.

I also enjoying working with students on a private one on one level. Using video analysis, Flightscope, and Blast Motion to create a game plan for success on the golf course.

My golf career before teaching included leading my High School team to the Ohio State Golf Championship for the second time in school history, winning 4 Conference Championships, and earning various individual awards. in the Summer I would travel the West Virginia Junior Golf circuits competing to refine my game. My goal is to help expose as many Juniors as possible to the game so they can have the great memories I developed growing up.

I went straight from High School into the Golf Profession, I knew what I wanted to do right away. I attended Florida Golf Coast University to gain my PGA Certification and began teaching all through school to this day.
