17U PGA Jr. League — Season Overview 1 League • 2 Flights (Competition + Recreation) League Structure • One league with two flights: Competition and Recreation • Players choose their flight at sign-up • Players may switch flights during the league if they’d like Flight Options Competition Flight (Individual Format) • Players play their own ball during matches • Players earn individual points each match • At the end of the season, there will be an overall individual league winner • Both flights will compete on the same days. Just either as an individual or a 2-person team. Recreation Flight (2-Person Scramble) • Players compete in 2-person scramble teams • Teams earn points together • At the end of the season, there will be an overall team league winner Postseason Qualification After the regular league matches conclude: • We will hold an 18-hole qualifier to determine the Postseason Teams • Must play in at least 2 season match dates to be eligible for Post Season Qualifier. • Important: Regular season points do not carry over to postseason qualifying • The qualifier is a fresh start — everyone competes for the allotted postseason spots Match Dates & Host Sites Springdale Country Club – 4:30 pm Start Time • April 18 • May 23 • June 27 First Tee – The Links at Springdale – 5:00 pm Start Time • June 6 • July 11 Points System (Stableford) For Team and Individual Points are earned each hole: • Eagle or Better: 4 points • Birdie: 3 points • Par: 2 points • Bogey: 1 point • Double Bogey or Worse: 0 points Post Season Dates • Saturday, August 15th – Section Championship • Muskogee Golf Club, Muskogee, OK
