Whether they're new to the game or plan on signing up for a Drive, Chip and Putt competition, group classes are a great way for junior golfers to get a bite-size taste of golf and learn the skills needed to compete, where participants have an opportunity to advance through local, subregional and regional qualifying to earn a place in the national finals that are conducted at Augusta National Golf Club on the Sunday before The Masters Tournament. Dress for the weather, but shorts, a golf shirt or nice T-shirt, cap and tennis shoes are appropriate for our clinic. And don’t forget sunscreen! 2026 Summer PGA Junior League – On-Course Competition Program Powered by KJ Golf Academy The 2026 Summer PGA Junior League program at KJ Golf Academy is a fully on-course competition experience designed to help junior golfers learn how to play real golf in a structured, supportive, and team-based environment. This season focuses exclusively on 9-hole on-course play, allowing players to develop confidence, course-management skills, and competitive experience through actual gameplay rather than weekly range practice. Welcome to Murrieta Valley Junior Golf's PGA JR. League Program! We have been a fixture in the Murrieta/Temecula Valley for the past 15 years. If your child has never joined a PGA Jr. League with Murrieta Valley Junior Golf, we highly encourage you to give it a try. It is one of the best ways for kids to learn the game of golf while also being introduced to fun, team-based competition. We offer beginner, intermediate, and advanced teams, including many of the top high school players and future Division I golfers in the valley. We have proudly conducted our league for over 10 years and have NEVER had an unfilled program. When booking online, the registration page will ask for your child’s skill level. Players will then be rostered accordingly to ensure the best experience for everyone. The full schedule is listed below in the PGA Jr. League section. Away matches are added as the season progresses, and we typically complete 5–7 away matches throughout the summer. You can see our current program under the PGA JR. League Section below to get a snapshot of the amount of Golf we play, and the Golf courses we play in the area. Our matches and events are held at great local courses including Journey at Pechanga, Temecula Creek Inn, Glen Ivy, General Old, California Oaks, and more. HEADQUARTERED AT RICKIE FOWLERS RANGE IN MURRIETA, CA Murrieta Valley Golf Range's PGA Junior League. The practices will take place at Murrieta Golf Range in Murrieta, CA. Our Range is an All-Grass Facility that cannot be beat. We have 3 Chipping Greens, 1 large Putting Green, and 40+ grass stalls. The on-course competitions will take place at golf courses in the area. Practices will be once a week on Tues or Thurs in the afternoon (depending on which team you are assigned) from June-July. On-course competitions will take place Fridays in the afternoon (4pm). We will get on the course 5 or 6 times for home matches. All coaching fees, qualifying fees, green fees, jerseys, season end awards and BBQ are included in the price. Range balls are not included in the practices, and will cost $12 or so each time we practice. If parents wish to ride along during matches, the courses usually charge $20 or so a cart.
