Teach FORE Reach - Sunday Session 3
Swing Mechanics - Understanding and Relearning the Basics This Free Clinic will be an hour-long on the Legacy Ridge Golf Course driving range. Coach V will be instructing the fundamentals of the full swing which will include set-up, grip, posture and an easier way to create better contact. Coach V loves educating his students about their swing so they can improve on their own and rely on themselves to improve and keep their swing more consistent. Teach FORE Reach I'm excited to join this incredible initiative founded by my good friend and PGA Professional, Jeramy Curry, PGA. He single-handedly raised over $15,000 in one day teaching private golf lessons to raise funds for the PGA Reach Colorado Foundation in 2023. I have decided to join him and donate a full day of teaching to our Foundation. This will go towards the PGA HOPE, our military program designed to introduce golf to veterans and active military to support their emotional, physical and social well-being as well as supporting junior golf. Please attend one of my free golf clinics and then feel free to DONATE to these life-changing programs I am so passionate about. https://charity.pledgeit.org/c/ygn53ufnus

Players interested in this program will need to have permission from our programming team (in the form of a special registration code) to gain access to the program. That access will be approved for players with the appropriate attitude, maturity, skill level, and competitive spirit for this program. Additional critical traits necessary for participation in the Competitive Raccoons program include the ability to follow safety and game rules, accept coaching, be willing to make new friends, and partner with a variety of players. A popular aspect of Jr League is the opportunity to play on a team with friends and/or siblings. We accommodate such requests when possible. Our goal is to provide an opportunity for your player to dive deeper into golf and spark a life-time enjoyment for the game in a popular program that focuses on competition, player development, fun, inclusion, camaraderie, and teamwork. Chloe Graham will be back again as the primary facilitator of PGA Junior League, with help from the Raccoon Creek pros John Houlihan and Travis Morton and several other experienced coaches. Our program is a three-time recipient of the PGA Junior League #GameChanger Award as the top Colorado program years 2022, 2023, and 2024. Raccoon Creek PGA Jr League incorporates clinics, on-course practice sessions, matches, and a popular season-ending Fun Day.
PEAK Golf at DU Golf Club
The PEAK PGA Jr. League team at the University of Denver Golf Club in Highlands Ranch is best for intermediate golfers with some golf experience, ready to play on the golf course with competitive experiences. This program has 2-player team scramble tournaments, with focus on player development by having students learn the different shots used in the game, playing on the golf course, and then understanding a little more about the competitive game within match play. PEAK Coaches will help and encourage all players to be their best. All players on the team must be enrolled in a PEAK instructional class, which ever is the best fit for the golfer. A PEAK Coach can help register for either a Spring Play to Improve class, a Summer Play to Improve class, or enrolled in one of the Jr. Monthly Coaching Plans. The practices will be the instructional program and players on the team will register for only the tournaments they are available to play in. Players can expect to pick from a dozen dates at various Denver metro area courses.
