Under PGA Coaches, Jax Jones and Jack Cavanagh. Students/players must have previously participated in golf instruction with JJGA or another PGA Professional. They should have on-course playing experience and have developed their individual skills to a level where they can manage themselves on the course with little to no assistance. Players must be 10 years old as of July 31 of the current year (returning players are grandfathered in). In order to support the goals of our long-term development for our athletes, coaches may recommend placement into an Operation 36 program if it is determined to be the best fit for the student at that time.

Please note this is where you pay the $120 membership fee to the PGA, the $380 coaching fee is collected on the Raccoon Creek Website. Please register in BOTH places! COPY THE LINK BELOW TO PAY COACHING FEE: https://www.raccooncreek.com/product/2026-pga-jr-lg-little-birdies-9u/ If you have any questions, please reach out to Chloe, cgraham@raccooncreek.com This is the 4th year of our "Little Birdies" program at Raccoon Creek! This popular program, created specifically for 5-7 year old players interested in a PGA Jr League experience, sold out in 2023, 2024, and 2025! Chloe Graham will be back again as the primary facilitator of Little Birdies, with help from the Raccoon Creek pros and several older former Raccoon Creek PGA Jr. League players. Prior golf experience is not required. We can provide clubs for the first two clinics, but players will need their own clubs to use for the on-course sessions. This includes being able to carry their own clubs or having their parents acting as a "caddie" for on course sessions. Little Birdies incorporates many fun features of Raccoon Creek’s award-winning PGA Jr League programming utilizing elements of the American Development Model, endorsed by the PGA of America to offer a PGA Jr League golf introduction with appropriate subject matter, skill development, time, and course length for players in this age group. We will focus on learning to play the game safely while in a fun manner. The concept of team play, PGA Jr League rules and etiquette will be introduced and reinforced throughout the program. Parental involvement is necessary and required due to the age and typical maturity level of players in this age group. When we are on the course, these players are typically not able to carry their clubs and bag on their own. Having a parent or guardian available during on-course practices and golf events to assist as a “caddie” and be available for familiar support, encouragement, and safety will be required. Junior Golfers in this age group display a wide variety of self-sufficiency and confidence in new situations. We will work with you to create the best experience for your player!

Players interested in this program will need to have permission from our programming team (in the form of a special registration code) to gain access to the program. A popular aspect of Jr League is the opportunity to play on a team with friends and/or siblings. We accommodate such requests when possible. Our goal is to provide an opportunity for your player to dive deeper into golf and spark a life-time enjoyment for the game in a popular program that focuses on competition, player development, fun, inclusion, camaraderie, and teamwork. Chloe Graham will be back again as the primary facilitator of PGA Junior League, with help from the Raccoon Creek pros John Houlihan and Travis Morton and several other experienced coaches. PEAK Golf at DU Golf Club
PEAK Golf at DU Golf Club

The PEAK PGA Jr. League team at the University of Denver Golf Club in Highlands Ranch is best for intermediate golfers with some golf experience, ready to play on the golf course with competitive experiences. This program has 2-player team scramble tournaments, with focus on player development by having students learn the different shots used in the game, playing on the golf course, and then understanding a little more about the competitive game within match play. PEAK Coaches will help and encourage all players to be their best. All players on the team must be enrolled in a PEAK instructional class, which ever is the best fit for the golfer. A PEAK Coach can help register for either a Spring Play to Improve class, a Summer Play to Improve class, or enrolled in one of the Jr. Monthly Coaching Plans. The practices will be the instructional program and players on the team will register for only the tournaments they are available to play in. Players can expect to pick from a dozen dates at various Denver metro area courses.
