Our PGA Jr. League program provides junior golfers ages 8–17 with a fun, team-based way to learn and compete. Players develop golf fundamentals, short game skills, and on-course decision-making in a positive and supportive environment. Using the PGA Jr. League team scramble format, players of all skill levels can contribute while building confidence, teamwork, and sportsmanship. The 13U division focuses on fundamentals and fun, while the 17U division emphasizes competitive preparation and course strategy. Our goal is to help players improve their skills, enjoy competition, and develop a lifelong love for the game.

Royal St. Cloud PGA Jr. League (Age 14-17)

Real golf, real teammates, and real confidence built on the course. Our PGA Jr. League at Royal St. Cloud Golf Links brings friends, families, and the community together through a fun, team-based golf experience. Led by Coach Roger with Florida Junior Golf, players will develop: • On-course playing experience (not just the range) • Confidence during matches and real play situations • Strong fundamentals in putting, chipping, and full swing • Course management and smart decision-making • Teamwork, sportsmanship, and focus Our teams are open to beginner to competitive players, and athletes are grouped to ensure every child feels supported and challenged. Players will learn and compete in a two-person scramble format, encouraging teamwork, mentorship, and learning through real on-course situations. Coach Roger also works closely with players on playing with purpose and understanding proper pace of play, helping them feel confident and prepared during matches. During matches, junior golfers play independently without coaching or caddie assistance, allowing them to build confidence, think for themselves, and fully experience the game. Families love this program because it is structured, positive, and focused on real development while still being fun and engaging. Conveniently located in St. Cloud, just minutes from Lake Nona, Orlando, and within 30 minutes of Disney and major attractions. 🔵SCHEDULE + SEASON DETAILS • Weekly team practices: Wednesdays from 6:00 PM – 7:00 PM • Game days: Primarily Saturdays, with one Sunday match • Season runs through May and June • Final game day includes a special team day experience Real golf, real teammates, and real confidence built on the course. 🔵PAYMENT & STEP UP INFORMATION Florida Junior Golf is a direct Step Up For Students provider. Step Up funds may be used for the coaching fee only. The PGA Jr. League membership fee ($120) is paid separately during registration and is not eligible for Step Up. Instead of playing alone, players become part of a team, wear team jerseys, practice together, compete together, and create friendships that often last for years. Led by PGA Jr League Coach Roger and Florida Junior Golf, our program combines skill development, team competition, and real on-course experience in a positive, encouraging environment where every player can succeed. Whether your child is brand new to golf or already competing in tournaments, PGA Jr. League provides a fun pathway to learn, improve, and fall in love with the game. 🟢What Players Learn • Real on-course experience, not just driving range practice • Putting, chipping, pitching, bunker play, and full swing fundamentals • Course management and smart decision-making during play • Confidence under pressure and match-play situations • Proper golf etiquette, pace of play, and sportsmanship • Teamwork, communication, and leadership skills • How to compete while having fun and supporting teammates Players compete in PGA Jr. League's exciting two-person scramble format, allowing teammates to work together, encourage one another, and learn through real playing situations on the golf course. Our teams are carefully organized so that beginner, intermediate, and advanced players all feel welcomed, supported, and appropriately challenged. As players grow, they also learn to think independently on the course. PGA Jr. League Annual Membership Paid directly to PGA Jr. League. This annual membership is typically around $120 per player and includes: •Official PGA Jr. League player membership •Team jerseys and player kit •Access to PGA Jr. League benefits and resources •Eligibility to participate in league play nationwide This membership is generally paid once per year and follows the player throughout the year. Florida Junior Golf Seasonal Coaching Fee Paid separately to Florida Junior Golf each season. This fee covers: •Weekly team practices •Match day organization and coaching •Team administration and communication •Player development and preparation •On-course coaching during practices •Season planning and support 🟡 Step Up For Students Families Florida Junior Golf is an approved direct provider through Step Up For Students. Eligible families may use Step Up funds toward the Florida Junior Golf seasonal coaching fee. The PGA Jr. League annual membership fee is paid directly to PGA Jr. League and is not eligible for Step Up reimbursement. If you need assistance with registration or using Step Up funds, our team is happy to help guide you through the process. 🔵 Beginner Golfers Are Welcome No previous golf experience is required. We welcome players ages 4–17 and work hard to ensure every child feels comfortable, included, and successful from their very first day on the course.
