Junior Golf Fundamentals Camp Our Junior Golf Fundamentals Camp is designed to introduce young players to the game in a fun, positive, and energetic environment. This camp focuses on building a strong foundation in the core skills of golf — grip, stance, posture, full swing, chipping, putting, and basic rules & etiquette. Through engaging drills, games, and on-course experiences, juniors will develop confidence, coordination, and a love for the game. Players will learn not just how to swing the club, but how to practice with purpose and play with integrity. Whether your child is brand new to golf or looking to sharpen their fundamentals, this camp is the perfect way to grow their skills while having a blast with friends. 3 60-minute Sessions 8:30 am - 9:30 am (13-17 Year Olds) 9:45 am - 10:45 am (9-12 Year Olds) 11:00 am - 12:00 pm (5-8 Year Olds)

2026 Junior Golf School Beginner/Intermediate BASIC 1
Bloomingdale Golf Club will be offering summer Junior Golf School, taught by our PGA golf professional staff, to all interested boys and girls. The program will be structured around basic fundamentals of the golf swing, rules and etiquette of the game, safety, and fun contests. Our objective is to provide juniors a good start to a game that can be played and enjoyed for a lifetime. Beginner/Intermediate BASIC Program Juniors between the ages of 7 and 15 are eligible to participate. Each class must have a minimum of 4 students, no refunds after first class and no makeup classes will be available. All students should have a set of golf clubs. If there is a need for equipment, please inform the golf shop and we will attempt to provide some clubs. Juniors need to wear proper attire and footwear. Golf shoes or tennis shoes are suggested. Please, no flip-flops or sandals. Our Beginner/Intermediate BASIC Program golf school will offer two sessions. Each session will go for 4 weeks, three days each of these weeks. Throughout the 4 weeks of school students will learn the rules of the game, proper golf etiquette, fundamentals of both the short game and full swing. This program does include some course instruction and play time. The PGA Jr. League 13U at Ridge Country Club offers a fun, engaging, and competitive environment for young golfers to develop their skills and love for the game. Led by PGA Professionals Richard Dukelow and Jonathan Lipsey, the program is designed to challenge players while keeping the experience enjoyable and team-oriented. To be eligible for the league, participants should have completed at least two years in the Junior Golf Program or one year in the Ridge 36 Program. New members are also welcome—coaches are happy to evaluate each child to determine if they are ready for league play. This league provides a great opportunity for students to test their abilities across all aspects of the game, from driving to putting. In addition to skill development, players will learn important fundamentals and proper golf etiquette, helping them grow both on and off the course. PGA HOPE is designed to introduce golf to Veterans and Active Duty Military to support their social, emotional, and physical well being. Join PGA HOPE alongside your fellow Veterans and Service members. PGA HOPE has served thousands of Veterans and Service members across the United States through one of our 300+ locations. This introductory program is designed to welcome those of all ages, branches and eras of service, genders, and abilities to the golf course and share in camaraderie and fun together as a group. During this session you will learn the basics from grip to 9 holes of golf from Mike Samson, PGA and other Professionals. No golf equipment is required. If you do have clubs and/or any specialty equipment, please bring them with you. Northbrook Golf Academy - 13U - Play All 9
Introduce children to team golf in a fun and exciting environment. Our program is unique as participants will play all 9 holes participating in a 2 vs. 2 scramble(best shot) format on the Legacy 9 at Heritage Oaks or Anetsberger Par 3 Golf Course. Players will be paired with and play against other players from our academy based on their skill level and age. To participate in the league children must have their own set of clubs, be able to advance the ball 75-100 yards semi-consistently and have prior playing experience.
